In my role as senior designer for Splash, I have created a wide range of UI assets and interfaces for their Roblox game. Shown here are icons, level bars, and badges made by me which appear to the player as they progress through gameplay. At the time of creation, the design brief for Splash was to keep things colourful and bright, but still respect the nighttime neon level design. In my view, UI should complement 3D and so much of the 2D at Splash is informed by what the 3D artists are doing. I believe designers should take as much responsibility as possible for implementation, so to that end I designed these elements and then ensured they were rebuilt inside Roblox Studio and prepared for programming.
